Ìdà Padà 2026

23rd March

Ìdà Padà was developed to address barriers affecting access to essential medical care and recovery resources for women and children in Nigeria. Through this initiative, we returned to Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital in Edo State, Nigeria continuing our work to provide practical support to patients and families in need.

Support packs were distributed to pregnant women and new mothers across antenatal, labour and postnatal wards. Assembled through donations collected during our Period of Giving events, the packs contained maternity pads, underwear and wellbeing products designed to support women during pregnancy and post-delivery recovery.

In addition, clothing donations collected through the community were distributed to children receiving care on the paediatric wards. The initiative aimed to provide dignity and practical support to families during vulnerable periods of care and recovery.

Through combining compassionate care with practical community support, we further strengthened our relationship with local healthcare professionals and hospital teams.
