About Us

Scrub the Stigma began in 2023 with a simple but powerful goal: to transform women’s health by tackling stigma, improving education, and expanding access to care. From small beginnings, we have grown into a vibrant community of advocates, medical professionals, students, and creatives, all united by the belief that women deserve knowledge, resources, and the confidence to advocate for themselves.

Since our founding, we have reached hundreds of students in schools across the UK and Nigeria, supported women in vulnerable communities, hosted inspiring events with expert speakers and survivors, and funded critical medical care for those who cannot afford it. Each step of our journey has reinforced our vision: a world where women can access healthcare without fear or judgment, and where education, advocacy, and outreach pave the way for lasting change.

Our Mission

Our mission is to dismantle the stigma surrounding women’s health by educating communities, amplifying women’s voices, and reaching the most vulnerable — so every woman is treated with the urgency, dignity and respect they deserve.

Education

Education

Putting women’s health into the classroom — breaking silence, building knowledge, and normalising the conversation from an early age.

Outreach

Outreach

Ensuring no one is left behind by taking women’s health education and resources directly into vulnerable communities.

Advocacy

Advocacy

Challenging bias and dismissal by equipping women to speak up, ask questions, and advocate for themselves in healthcare and beyond.
