Our Educate Peru programme marked the first STS session delivered in Latin America, run by a group of students working to establish a dedicated STS club at Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR), with the formal launch expected by August 2026.

The session was delivered to 5th grade students and centered on body autonomy and consent for prevention, opening with an age-appropriate animation before moving into two hands-on activities. Students worked through scenario cards applying their understanding of boundaries to both everyday social situations and physical safety, then completed a personal My Boundaries worksheet to reflect on and articulate their own limits.

Once established, the FDR club aims to work across two fronts: outreach visits to schools in lower-income communities across Lima, and locally at the school, including form-time sessions across Middle and High School and events focused on health advocacy and awareness.
