Educate Edo was one of Scrub The Stigma’s key outreach initiatives, created to empower adolescent girls and boys in Edo, Nigeria with the knowledge and resources needed to better understand and manage their menstrual health.

Delivered at Don Bosco Science Academy in Edo State, the workshop reached 47 students aged 14–18 in a mixed class of boys and girls. The session covered menstrual hygiene, common menstrual concerns, recognising when to seek medical support and identifying trusted sources of help.

Students also received menstrual hygiene pads to support safer and more confident period management. The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students engaged openly and had thoughtful discussion about menstrual health.
