Christmas Brunch 2025
Held over the Christmas period, our annual fundraising brunch raised funds in support of our Educate Lagos initiative whilst continuing important conversations surrounding women’s health and advocacy.
The event brought together guests, medical professionals and women’s health advocates for an interactive afternoon of discussion, education and connection. We had the pleasure of welcoming a notable panel including Tinuke Awe, black maternal health campaigner and co-founder of Five X More, Latoya Busumbru, founder of Womb Bae and award-winning fibroids advocate, and our founder, Dr Danielle Adewusi, resident doctor and founder of Scrub The Stigma.
Panel discussions focused on advocating for yourself within healthcare settings, particularly in relation to fibroids awareness and maternal health. Attendees also participated in a dedicated Q&A session, creating an open and engaging environment for conversation and shared learning.
In addition to fundraising, the brunch strengthened community engagement and increased awareness of the importance of accessible menstrual and reproductive health education.
